Baby Update

I am 19 weeks along today, which translates to almost 5 months. I have been feeling amazingly well and never get sick. The only things that remind me that I'm pregnant are my growing belly and my aching bones. The baby is 8 inches long and weighs 8 oz at this point. I feel it kicking regularly and Brent was even able to feel it moving yesterday. We'll have our ultrasound next Monday to find out what the sex of the baby is. We'll let you know!

Our NEW car!

This is our new/used mini-van that we purchased this past weekend. We found a great deal as this car is in great condition inside and out. Hannah is thrilled with her new car. She keeps saying to everyone she sees "Hannah's car!" as though they're supposed to understand that she is saying that we have a new car and she is super excited about it. I have always been opposed to mini-van's because they always seem to be in the way when you're on the road. I can't deny the good gas mileage and the convenient space however. And anyway, we're going to be that car that people say "Oh! You got passed by a mini-van!"

Hannah wanted us to take her picture while we were waiting for the happy couple to come out of the temple. We would take her picture and then she wanted us to show her so that she could see Hannah in the camera.

Our Old Car

We found a new car while we were in Idaho last week. We decided to trade in the Honda that we have had since we got married four years ago. We have some good memories with this car, and were sad to leave it. However, after we had decided to trade it in, we were leaving the dealership and the Honda wouldn't start! We sat there for about 3 minutes turning over the engine and hoping that the guy that we were working with wouldn't come out and see our predicament. Luckily, it started and didn't give us any more problems until we turned it in two days later.

The Carousel

Hannah loved the carousel. She would laugh through the entire ride. Every time they would go around the circle and see Mom, Hannah would say "HI MOM!"

Luke Family Reunion

One of Hannah's favorite things to do during the reunion was to find abandoned strollers and push them around.
Aunt Becky and Uncle Ian planned the reunion and had lots of fun things for us to do. They rented the air castle for the kids to jump in, they had crafts, face painting, water balloons and games.
Hannah sat very patiently and let Uncle Eric and Aunt Clarice paint flowers on each of her cheeks. They were both thoroughly amused at her because she actually sat there very still and had her eyes closed. This is probably because her mom tells her to close her eyes when she wants mom to put her makeup on her.

Candace
Hannah and Daddy ran through the water park in Rexburg and Hannah wasn't very sure about it. Daddy put her on his lap and went down the slides, but she didn't like the water going over her head. Brent sure enjoyed cooling off however.

Dinner on Hannah's Face

Hannah loves to say "cheese" and did so very emphatically yesterday with spagetti sauce on her face. If you can't tell, she also has sauce on her eyes and in her hair. Yesterday morning, Hannah put yogurt in her eyebrows and hair as well, and went through the day pretty crusty until dinner time, after which she got a very thorough bath.

Lounging

Hannah loves to just hang out while watching Sesame Street in the mornings.

Hannah loves to kick back and relax while in the car (as long as we're not going too far). She takes up this position almost everytime we go anywhere. Even if her arms aren't up, Hannah ALWAYS has her feet crossed.
